CLOSE THE GAP EXHIBITION クローズ ザ ギャップ展

The results of the international competition we have been organizing are being exhibited at  CUNY Baruch College, these photos are from the opening reception yesterday. Our local council member Dan Garodnick introduced the project which involves a complex land negotiation with the United Nations.  The Press, , community leaders,  representatives of the local community  and Austrian Trade commission and others came via the press release. The winners from Vienna and Washington were at the opening explaining their projects. Here is more from the press.

イーストリバーのグリーンウェイのギャップをつなげようという活動の一環で国際コンペを オーガナイズしていましたが、その結果を昨日から一ヶ月間あまり、ニュ－ヨーク市立大学バルーク校のギャラリーで公開しています。写真はそのオープニング レセプションの様子。最初に地方議会のDan Garodnick 氏がスピーチ。このプロジェクトが国連との間で複雑な交渉を含むことになることを説明。次にオーストリアのウィーンとワシントンからの受賞者がそれぞれの提案を説明。プレス,　オーストリー貿易コミッション、地域委員会のメンバー、地元の人びと、プレスリリースで知って来た人などなど、大勢が来ていたのはとてもうれしい。インタビューなど、プレスの報道.

The proposals here may not reflect the final product, but we hope they will get people excited about the possibilities and encourage the push to reach to the final goal, a complete Greenway.
